❗️Important: These instructions are for customers who purchased templates from The Hello Bureau. If you bought a template elsewhere, please refer to your original seller for guidance. We are unable to assist with templates that were not created by us.
All of our printable templates are editable in Templett, which makes it easy to personalise your design. This includes adding a QR code for things like websites, RSVP forms, maps, social media, or gift registries.
There’s no need for extra apps or downloads to get a QR code. Templett has a built-in QR code generator that drops it straight onto your design in seconds.
Step 1: Select the QR Code Option from the Elements Menu
Click Elements in the left-hand menu and select QR Code from the menu options.

Step 2: Add Your Link
Paste in your link (e.g. wedding website, RSVP form, map) and click Generate.

Step 3: QR Code Will Automatically Generate
Templett will automatically generate a QR code and drop it onto your design. You can then resize and move it wherever you need it.

Notes
- The code is not customisable. You can’t change the colour, shape, or style — it’s a standard black-and-white QR code.
- It can’t be downloaded on its own. If you need the QR code as a standalone image, place it on a blank template canvas, export as a PNG, then crop it using a desktop editing tool (like Preview).
- Make sure the link is correct. Double-check your URL before generating the code. If you change it later, you’ll need to re-add a new QR code.
- Keep it large enough to scan. QR codes need clear contrast and size to be scannable, especially on printed materials.
