Prepare to be transported to an evening where the exuberance of the Gatsby era gracefully intertwines with the allure of intimate rustic vibes. We are thrilled to share the tale of Stephanie and Lachlan’s breathtaking wedding, set against the picturesque backdrop of the Victorian countryside. And, as fate would have it, we were honoured to play a part in designing the bespoke rustic wedding stationery that perfectly complemented their extraordinary celebration.
Nestled within the picturesque landscapes of Victoria’s High Country, Stephanie and Lachlan chose the idyllic Euroa Butter Factory as the backdrop for their enchanting rustic wedding soirée. Set against beautifully restored buildings and lush gardens, this venue was the perfect setting for Stephanie and Lachlan’s celebration.

The Invitations
Stephanie and Lachlan intentionally designed their wedding invitations to perfectly complement the inviting rustic ambiance of the Euroa Butter Factory. Printed on eco-friendly handmade Maximus Eco paper, their wedding invitations embodied both visual beauty and a delightful soft-touch texture.
Stephanie and Lachlan sought to infuse the invitations with their personality and distinctive essence of the Euroa Butter Factory. This resulted in the incorporation of hand-drawn lavender sprigs of sentimental value and an illustration of the venue.
To complete the suite, the invitations were adorned with a vintage-inspired ivory-coloured cotton lace band and brown twine. Stephanie carefully added a delicate sprig of lavender to each one, infusing them with a touch of natural beauty. To add the perfect finishing touch and unify the entire suite, French lavender wax seals were purchased from La Pomme Et La Pipe Press to seal the envelopes.
The Place Cards
The on-the-day stationery seamlessly echoed the design of the wedding invitations, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic.
The place cards, printed on the same Maximus Eco paper, featured the same lavender illustration from the invitations. Each place card was hole-punched and finished with a combination of a sheer organza ribbon and brown twine. This clever touch allowed the twine to serve a dual purpose; later being used to tie the place card over a rolled napkin, garnished with a delicate eucalyptus leaf.
The Signage
Stephanie and Lachlan wanted to keep the signage consistent with the rest of the stationery and use the same paper as the invitations and place cards. Additionally, they had two gorgeous gold-framed mirrors that they wanted to use to display the seating chart and the menu.
However, the dilemma we faced was that the Maximus Eco paper was only available in A4.
After thinking through all the possible options, we decided to use simulated texture for the design. That meant scanning in a sheet of Maximus Eco paper to get a digital version of it, and then using that digital version to create a background for the design. We got it printed on matte poster paper, and Stephanie and Lachlan proceeded to get it framed. The results turned out beautifully!
