Choose a Template to Edit
We design all of our editable DIY welcome sign templates in the online editing program, Templett. It’s a free web-based application that is instantly available for you to use when you purchase a template. (It’s pretty popular – you may have come across a number of other templates from different sellers using this application on Etsy.)
Not only are templates an easy way to design signage but our DIY welcome sign templates are super flexible and customisable. You have the freedom to change the fonts, font sizes and colours. In addition, you can move elements around to your liking. These templates are all about unleashing your creativity and making it your own. We provide the starting point, but you bring your unique style and ideas to the table. The best part? You can have your awesome welcome sign design ready to print in just 5-10 minutes! How cool is that?
The great news is that we’ve already formatted our signage templates to download as A1 (594x841mm) and A2 (420x594mm) for Australian and UK customers; and 18″x24″ and 24″x36″ for US and Canada customers. Additionally, if you are after a custom size, we will happily resize the template for you.
How to Download the Files
1) Click on the ‘Download’ button once you are happy with your design and ready to export it. Select ‘PDF’. (The recommended file type for printing is PDF).
2) Ensure that the ‘Show bleed’ and ‘Show trim marks’ options are turned off (i.e. grey and not blue).
3) Click ‘Download’.
4) The PDF will now be saved in your designated downloads folder on your computer.
Where to Print Our Signage Templates?
We recommend placing your order at least three weeks before your event. Please refer to each printing company’s shipping information for more details.
For urgent jobs, take your file to a local physical print shop and most of the time they will be able to complete the job within 3-5 business days.
